Doc Rivers acknowledges the harsh reality after the Knicks loss

Not much was going the Milwaukee Bucks’ way when they did welcomed the New York Knicks into town for a Friday night showdown in the Eastern Conference.
Entering halftime trailing by 20 points, the Bucks were able to match the Knicks even in the third quarter, but ultimately went down without much of a fight in the game’s final frame, scoring just 15 points en route to a 127-98 loss.
Discussing how the game got away from his Bucks on their home court, Doc Rivers he clearly presented to those present and beyond: Milwaukee simply outplayed from New York.
“Yeah, yeah, I mean some of the guys on their team we gave shots, and that’s fine with us,” Rivers noted. “You know, we should have come out and guarded him, too, but I just thought they got everything they wanted and forgot the threes. Like when they wanted to drive, they drove the ball, when they wanted to shoot, they shot the ball. And I just didn’t think we met their physicality and their intensity. And you know, that’s a good lesson that it was a good lesson for them, that he knew what the game was like for them. moment.”
That being said, few expected the Bucks to secure a win, as they still don’t have Giannis Antetokounmpo and are 26-32 with just a few weeks left in the season. However, after a few strong performances after the arrivals of Cam Thomas and Usman Diengit’s clear that Rivers is ready to take film of this game and move on.
“I think we didn’t live up to their physicality and intensity … we just didn’t live up to the moment,” Doc Rivers said after a tough home loss to the Knicks #NBA #Postgame #FearTheDeer pic.twitter.com/bDf3gS4EPK
