Wednesday night, Dallas Mavericks will play their first game after firing CEO Nick Harrison. The Mavs officially made the decision to move on from Harrison on Tuesday, just over nine months after the GM traded Luka Doncic to the Lakers in a deal that led to Anthony Davis head to Dallas. AD is dealing with an injury, so does the star big man play tonight against the Phoenix Suns?

Davis has missed six straight games with a sprained left leg. As talented as he is, injuries have unfortunately played a large role in his career.

Anthony Davis Injury Status vs. Suns

Davis is currently listed as suspicious on the NBA injury report. Cooper Flagg is battling a sprained right thumb and is technically on the injury report, but will be available against the Suns. Derek Lively II is coming back from a sprained right knee and is listed as questionable.

Dallas, with a 3-8 start to the new campaign, took 14th place in the Western Conference standings. It’s safe to say that things haven’t gone according to plan for this Mavericks team. However, the Mavs could turn things around if they get healthy sooner rather than later.
