Does Heat’s Bam Adebayo play against Hawks? Latest injury report

The Miami Heat will face the Atlanta Hawks, and they have several players on the injury report coming into the game. Tyler Hero has already been ruled out because of his toe, but Bam Adebayo was also listed on the injury report for lower back pain. Adebayo has been pretty healthy this season as he has tried to keep the team afloat, especially in their recent slump.

Adebayo is probably the Heat’s most important player when you look at what he can do on both sides of the ball, and not being on the floor wouldn’t be ideal.

Bam Adebayo’s injury status against the Hawks

It’s Adebayo listed as suspicious against the Hawks, which means there’s a good chance he won’t play. Hopefully, he won’t miss extended time so the Heat can get back on track, just like himself. Adebayo was in a slump in the last few games, and after their loss to the Toronto Raptors, he talked about it.

“It’s awful,” Adebayo said, via Zachary Weinberger of Clutch Points. “But that’s part of the NBA, it’s a long season. So I fight through whatever I have to fight through, figure out how I can make a difference in the win, and do that instead of focusing on the shots that aren’t falling. Just play basketball, and eventually the shots will start falling.”

“The shots aren’t falling. That’s really what it is, and getting to my spots and figuring out how to get a couple more touches on offense.”

The Heat started the season very well, especially on offense, where they were one of the best in the league. Over the past few weeks, they’ve taken a step back, and teams have figured out how to stop what they’re doing.
