Donovan Mitchell’s uncertain status against the Bulls could further sink Cleveland

The Cleveland Cavaliers they enter Friday with a 15-13 record, but have already lost two straight and four games in December. It was that ugly part for the Cavs, and Wednesday’s 16-point loss to the Chicago Bulls wasn’t promising either.

They face the Bulls again on Friday, this time in Cleveland, but it’s a big one concerns over the latest injury report like a star Donovan Mitchell is questionable with the disease.

Mitchell played Wednesday night and led the team with 32 points on 11 of 23 from the field. Just a week ago, Mitchell dropped 48 points against the Washington Wizards.

Mitchell has been very frustrated with the Cavs’ performance of lateand after the defeat on Wednesday, he made it clear, but also said that there is time to turn things around.

“Just stick with it,” Mitchell told reporters after the game. “Yeah, it’s frustrating. Shit. But at the end of the day, what are you going to do, feel bad? You know what I mean? It’s December 17th. What are we going to do, let’s call right now? Go on. Go on. And part of it is not making shots. That’s really hard. We have great looks, we have really good shots, and we have great shots. That’s how it goes a little bit, you know what I mean. Sometimes you’re in trouble.

The Cavs have lost seven since the last week of November, and are on a bad downward trajectory. On top of that, Mitchell being questioned would be a huge blow, especially since he leads the team with a whopping 30.7 PPG.
