Draymond Green’s Blunt Reaction to Rich Paul’s “Shut Up” Remark.

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is never shy about speaking his mindespecially when someone else mentions it in a sensitive matter.

Only this time, that someone else is his agent.

On Game Over, Rich Paul he said Moses Moodywho is also his client, should work harder and have a different mindset in the offseason to get more opportunities.

“You should be looking to put Draymond out. Give them a reason to play you. We know you can shoot the three, big, strong, you’re going to defend, everything,” Paul said.

While Green could have easily fought back, as he usually does, he said he understood where Paul came from.

“(It’s) not shocking to me that Rich said that, because Rich and I talked, and he told me years ago that he was telling Moses that,” the 35-year-old forward said on “The Draymond Green Show.”

“It’s not like Moses wanted to become Draymond Green and kick me. What Rich is saying is you’ve become so valuable to the team that they can’t afford to keep Draymond, but you’re young, they’re kicking him.”

Moody has seen his role grow exponentially with the Warriors, but hasn’t really established himself in the NBA. He is averaging career highs of 10.4 points, 39.2% shooting from deep, 3.0 rebounds and 24.5 minutes this season.

But as Paul, who also represents Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, said, the 23-year-old Moody can do a lot more and reaches his potential if he can get Green’s spot. However, he may find it difficult to replicate the four-time champion’s impact on defence.

Green is averaging 8.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 26.9 minutes.
