Dwight Howard and Amy Luciani are seemingly rekindling their relationship

Dwight Howard and Amy Luciani are working on their relationship. Luciani revealed in a video on social media this week that she was looking back on her previous divorce filing, claiming it was “silly and stupid” why she filed.

“I met the love of my life and almost divorced him – in six months, because I was really stupid and silly. In fact, we both filed for divorce,” Luciani said in the video.

The couple married in January, and they they both filed for divorce in July. On Luciani’s court documents reached by PEOPLE, she stated that the marriage was “irretrievably broken” with no chance of reconciliation.

She then started giving her followers some tips on how to be married and need to toughen up at the beginning. Luciani added that sometimes it is best to say nothing.

“Let’s talk about the problems of being a new, young woman. The first thing I can tell you as a new woman… shut up. Shut up,” she added. “I say, choose your battles. And sometimes choose them quietly. Understand: when you become one with your husband, that means you become one.”

She then explained how rich men don’t want to deal with attitudes and just want peace.

“Successful, top people, they just want peace. They don’t want anything else,” Luciani said. “And I’m about to say something that will probably hurt you. Black successful men marry black women. … I already know, sis, life hasn’t been easy for us and along the way we’ve formed a little bench that we can’t get rid of. Just because life was hard doesn’t give you the right to be rude, ab, na, confrontational, unco.

Howard didn’t give his own statement about the state of their relationship, but he did comment on Luciani’s post: “I love everything about you.

Apart from the video on social media, rumors are rife that the two are trying to patch up their marriage as they have been seen together several times in the past few months. In an Instagram snap posted by the reality TV star today (November 1), the pair worked out together in their home gym.

Last month, they attended the fair together as well as celebrated official Dwight Howard Day on October 10th. Looks like everything is going well for Howard and Luciani.
