Eagles AJ Brown explains viral book reading clip after Packers win

In a brief moment during their Wild Card win over the Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles receiver AJ Brown was caught reading a book on the margins, causing a social media explosion. Between fans calling out Brown for not caring about the game, asking what he was reading and why, every question was answered by the star wide receiver, including your post on social networks.

Before Brown took to social media to note why he had the book — Inner Excellence: Train Your Mind for Outstanding Performance and the Best Life Possible by Jim Murphy — gave his response to reporters after the Eagles’ win against the Packers. He even let NFL reporter James Palmer go look at the passage who Brown is going to, specifically.
The passages are full of important information, teaching readers how to better understand themselves while navigating difficult circumstances. Taking into account Brown’s public battles with mental healththis book apparently helps the recipient stay composed during the competition.
With so much attention surrounding Brown and the book, reporters asked the Eagles wide receiver about it after the game, which prompted a modest answer.

“Man, it gives me a sense of peace,” Brown said. “That’s the book I bring to every game.” My teammates call it ‘The Recipe’. You know, this is the first time I’ve heard that you caught me on camera. But it’s not the first game.
“You know, there are a lot of points there. There’s a lot of mental parts about it. For me, this game is mental. Physically I believe I can do anything and everything, but I have to make sure I’m mentally well. It’s just something I refresh every drive — whether I score a touchdown or drop a pass. I always go back to that book every ride and just refocus. Nothing matters, nothing happened. Just lock again.”
After the victory of Orlov further Wild Card Weekendeven though the Browns haven’t been incredibly active in the stats, their main goal of going 1-0 in each week of the postseason has gotten off to a strong start.
