With NBA trade deadline approaching February 5th, it is still uncertain. However, it was reported that Chicago and Boston Celtics was negotiating trade in which Vučević and Anfernee Simmonsaccording to Michael Scotto of HoopsHipe.
Apparently, before the Celtics moved up in the East, Chicago was looking at acquiring Simmons and a first-round pick in exchange for Vucevic. However, Boston rejected the offer.
Vucevic (35) is playing his sixth season for the Bulls. This year he is averaging 17.0 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. Chicago is 23-24 and ranks 9th in the Eastern Conference, while Boston is 29-18 and third.
