Essex Rebels: ‘Perfect match’, says the new main coach Joe Hart
The Men’s team won the promotion that five years ago finished five years ago in 2024-25 before she lost to reading rockets in playoffs.
“I would like to win something, I would like to compete for league and play in the final,” Hart said.
“Is that happening or does not lead to my philosophy if we do things in the right way, we will be satisfied if we do not end up with everyone who celebrates at the end of the season, but we hope it is a byproduct.”
He continued, “I’ve always wanted to train, during my career, I always had something I was attracted to stop playing, but when you entered to be part of the program like this and take away me that I was taken away from me.”
The rebels are based at the University of Essek, with a female team competing in Super League basketball.
It’s Hart’s main role of coach, but said, “In the second year, I couldn’t play, but my club offered a role as a support coach in Plimouti and then beat his university program and then I also had three sides.
“In my last season, we asked the Academy, so I trained 16 to 18 every day, so I had little experience with men at the level level, a little more practical at the university level and as well as with the 18th.
“I’m excited to monitor this program now, there is a good balance of guys who are professional and guys still early in their development, which is a beautiful mixture.”
