Even an injury couldn’t stop Stephen Curry from storming the court

Golden State The Warriors looked a little different at the trade deadline day, but they had a game against the Phoenix Suns. Both teams were dealing with injuries coming their way, but the Suns had the upper hand for most of the fourth quarter and looked like they were headed for the win at one point.

The one thing you shouldn’t do is doubt the Warriors, no matter who’s on the court. They started to chip away at their deficit as they stopped and found themselves in the lead. All they needed was a stop at the end, and De’Anthony Melton did what he had to do to tackle Dillon Brooks to get the win.

It was a great victory, and everyone was excitedeven Stephen Currywho did not play.

“Warriors are coming off a wild 25-7 series win in Phoenix that was capped off by a strong defensive stop/bar and then a courtside celebration that included an inactive Steph Curry,” ESPN’s Anthony Slater wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Steve Kerr felt the energy after the winand he had a bold statement after the game.

“It felt like we won the championship. We needed it. We really needed it,” Kerr said. “Just the emotion of it all. The last two days, losing three of our guys that were loved in the locker room, losing Jimmy Butler to a season-ending injury, Stephen Curry not being around, it’s just…everything has been tough the last week or ten days.

With the win, the Warriors are now 28-25 and hope to continue to grow the rest of the season. They’ll have Kristaps Porzingis after being traded from the Atlanta Hawks before the trade deadline, and if he’s healthy, he’ll be a key piece for the Warriors as they try to make a run.
