Fans are clamoring for Doc Rivers’ job after another depressing loss
There may not be another team in the NBA with worse prospects than this one Milwaukee Bucks to do. Not only is it Giannis Antetokounmpo will undergo an MRI which he believes would bring some bad injury news, also lost to a Denver Nuggets team, 102-100, without Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and rising star Peyton Watson.
This Bucks franchise doesn’t control their first-round pick until 2031, and they don’t have many young players to get their fans excited about. Ryan Rollins has shown promise, as has Kevin Porter Jr. (also improving), but other than that, the Bucks haven’t drafted very well or developed much youth.
But the main concern of fans is the fact that Doc Rivers is still the team’s head coach. Rivers’ reputation has declined over the past half-decade, and fans don’t like that he’s still leading the team on the sidelines.
“Doc is terrible and the Bucks don’t have the wiggle room to make the moves necessary to compete for a title,” Ks user @Maj0rSwagger wrote.
“Hot stroke not really a hot stroke Doc Rivers needs to be fired.. This iso ball nonsense has significantly worsened the money since signing Rivers. Need to see more sets, more acting in moving the ball across the court and or stagnant,” @GabeFernandez26 he added.
“I will never watch a game again if Doc is still the coach,” @Eli_kihl21 further.
“I can’t deal with this Bucks man. Shoot the doctor INTO THE SUN!!!” @AidanShiepe expressed.
Bucks is facing severe consequences for his short-sighted decision-making

One could trace the Bucks’ decline to the first-round exit they experienced in 2023 at the hands of the eighth-seeded Miami Heat. That playoff loss led to them firing Mike Budenholzer, replacing him with Adrian Griffin (whom Rivers later replaced). They also dealt Jrue Holiday for Damian Lillard after that playoff loss.
Now, the Bucks don’t have much to do as far as building the roster goes, and they don’t have enough cap space to do anything. They’re stuck, which is the worst place to be in the NBA.
