Fans are convinced Wemby will win the MVP after watching 1 game

Victor Vembanyama is truly out of this worldbecause how can anyone on this planet make someone like Anthony Davis look weak and helpless in the same way San Antonio Spurs star big man is on wednesday night?

Wemby was simply sensational and unstoppable all night on the floor against Davis and the Dallas Mavericks as he helped the Spurs spoil the NBA debut of 2025 NBA Draft pick Cooper Flagg in a 125-92 victory at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Vembanjama spent the entire evening making the rest of the league jealous of the Spurs for having him.

The 21-year-old French star led the Mavs to 40 points with 15 rebounds, three blocks, an assist and a steal in just 30 minutes of action.

The basketball looked so easy for Vembanyama, who shot 15-for-21 from the field and hit nine of his 11 attempts from the foul line. Almost everything went right for San Antonio when he was on the floor, as he finished with a plus-31 in the game.

With Wembanyama’s dominance for the Mavericks, many fans online remained convinced that he would definitely win the NBA Most Valuable Player award.

“I’m taking all futures that Wembanjama will be MVP for the next 10 years after this season. And DPOI obviously. Spurs compete in 2 years for another decade… and I’m bleeding purple and gold 🥺,” he said a fan.

“Victor Wembaniama is your ’25-’26 NBA MVP,” another social network on X (formerly Twitter) common.

“Vembanjama is an alien. There are no injuries and this is the MVP season”, a another commenter wrote.

“Victor Vembanyama will be the new youngest MVP this year,” declared another fan.

“I’ve seen all there is to see. Vembanyama MVP,” he answered the second.

Even the Mavs home fans feel the same way.

The MVP cheers have already started for Victor Vembanyama.

While many eyes were on Flagg, it didn’t take long for Vembanyama to gain everyone’s attention. Despite his great stats, he didn’t seem to put much effort into putting up those numbers. It was as if he could do it every night – a terrifying thought for the rest of the league as Wembanjama put everyone on notice.

Vembanyama will next be tested by the New Orleans Pelicans, as the Spurs visit the Big Easy this Saturday.
