FIBA competitions are broadcast on beIN Sports until 2029


French national team at EurobasketAfter the extension (a little late…) its NBA offer over several years, beIN SPORTS announces a partnership with FIBA ​​to broadcast international men’s and women’s competitions until 2029.

Qatar channel will broadcast 2026 Women’s Basketball World Cup (from 4 to 13 September 2026 in Germany),EuroBasket for Women 2027 (from 16 to 27 June 2027 in Belgium, Finland, Lithuania and Sweden), World Cup 2027 (August 27 to September 12, 2027 in Qatar), theEurobasket for women 2029 and theEuroBasket 2029 (in Estonia, Greece, Slovenia and Spain), as well as most of the qualifying matches during the period 2025/2029, not forgetting the selection of matches of hopeful teams.

Subscribers will also find all the matches of the French men’s and women’s teams for the EuroBasket and the World Cup during the period 2025/2029, as well as the Blues qualifiers.

Remember that TF1 Group acquired the broadcasting rights (in plain language) of French teams, men’s and women’s, during the FIBA ​​competition in the same period. But beIN Sports is returning the full rights, which it previously managed DAZNand which Qatari channel had to buy in order to be able to broadcast Euro 2025…

Freddie Fotto’s team’s first qualifying games for the 2027 FIBA ​​World Cup will in any case be broadcast on November 28 and December 1, 2025. The Blues will meet Belgium on November 28 at 8:30 p.m. in Kindarena in Rouen and Finland in Espoo on December 1 at 5:30 p.m.
