Flagg, Siakam headlines lengthy Mavericks-Pacers injury report

Cooper Flagg, Pascal Siakam injury status against Pacers

With Cooper Flagg officially ruled out on the injury report, Dallas is expected to once again be without its No. 1 overall pick and primary offensive engine. Flagg has been the Mavericks’ most consistent player this season, averaging 20.4 points and 6.6 rebounds.

Novak sat out the Mavericks’ recent 122-111 loss to Minnesota with the same midfoot sprain. Without Flagg, and with Kyrie Irving and Derek Lively II also out, Dallas surrendered 117.4 points per game and will give some relief to the fact that even the Pacers are undermanned.

Siakam is listed as a suspect. He leads Indiana with 23.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game, and his potential absence comes alongside Tyrese Haliburton, who is already out for the season with an Achilles tear.
