For Mark Cuban, Anthony Edwards converted free throws

« Watch Anthony Edwards attempt a free throw… Watch him when he’s on the line… He walks in line every time… “This is what he had revealed by Mark Cuban in early September, and warned that he is not ruling out sending the videos to the NBA to break it up.
A warning that Edwards heeded, as he explained Saturday night. “A famous guy went on Instagram or a podcast and talked about my free throws. He brought it to everyone’s attention, so I had to change, because they started calling it a foul.” The Wolves defender explains. “Now the judges are in mode: “You can’t cross the line.” So I had to change the whole thing. I think it was the guy who owned the Mavs, Mark… Mark Cuban.”
Changing the free throw routine is not trivial for an NBA player, even a young one, and that explains some of the misses. “I’m trying to get used to my new throws… But I have no excuses, I have to get them in. That’s why sometimes I don’t even know if they’re going in or not, because I have to concentrate not to cross the line.”
But he assures us that things will soon return to normal. “It’s tough, but with all the time I spend in the gym, it shouldn’t be that tough. I’m trying to shoot about 200 free throws a day. I’m going to come back tomorrow and shoot a lot of them. I’ve got to get comfortable with that.” he assures, before insisting on the role of Cubans in all this. “The referees have called me a few times. Or sometimes they tell you in the middle of the game. But after what he said this summer, a lot of guys texted me, ‘Bro, you’ve got to change that, they’re going to start calling you.’ Coach Crean wrote to me too. So I told myself I needed to change my pitching routine. »
