George Kittle ‘plans to play’ in Week 18 against Seahawks

The San Francisco 49ers outlived the Chicago Bears in a shooting last Sunday night. The team improved to 12-4 with no George Kittle. The veteran tight end was sidelined for the Week 17 matchup with an injury.

The All-Pro heads into a big game against the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football in Week 16 with a receiving line of 7/115/1. But Kittle was out early with a sprained ankle. After missing the Bears game, his status for Week 18 was up in the air.

But the 49ers’ victory set up a showdown for the top seed with the Seattle Seahawks in the season finale. And Kittle plans to play in Saturday night’s divisional clash, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
