Giannis Antetokounmpo: Milwaukee Bucks ‘relief’ after no trade
The Bucks won their third straight on Friday night, defeating the Indiana Pacers 105-99, but they remain 12th in the NBA’s Eastern Conference, three wins behind the Charlotte Hornets in the final playoff spot.
The Bucks are 6-14 without Antetokounmpo, but have won 15 of their 30 games with him.
Antetokounmpo is averaging 30 points, 10 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game on 65% shooting this season, earning him a spot in NBA All-Star Game.
He finished practice on the court before the Bucks’ final three games and posted a clip from The Wolf of Wall Street on social media after Thursday’s trade deadline, along with the message: “Legends don’t chase. They attract.”
“It was a relief,” Rivers said. “I thought Giannis’ tweet was like a unifying thing for all the players.
