At least a newbie New York Giants quarterback Cam Skatebo has one ally: The Knicks are guarding Jaylen Bransonamid controversy surrounding his recent appearance on Madison Square Garden for VVE Monday night RAV.
Brunson, who is a known WWE fan, responded to Skatebo’s recent remarks, clapping back at his haters. Although he didn’t write anything, he posted a GIF of Edge (aka Adam Copeland in AEV) walking through smoke during his entrance as World Heavyweight Champion.
So while Skatebo hears it from the New York media and Giants fans, the Knicks’ Brunson doesn’t seem to have a problem with his WWE appearance RAV at Madison Square Garden.

Skatebo was among the Giants players at Madison Square Garden for John Cena’s final episode RAV November 17. Additionally, Philadelphia Eagles legends like Big Dom and Cooper DeJean were on display.
However, Skatebo received more criticism for his ankle injury, which will keep him on the shelf for the rest of the year. He got into a physical altercation with Doomsday’s Dominic Mysterio, Finn Balor and JD McDonough.
Fortunately, it’s not like he entered the ring. Skatebo played his part, pushing McDonagh to the ground. Mysterio then shoved Skatebo before the other Giants interfered. By all accounts, Skattebo is fine, but the appearance has disturbed some.
It is not clear if Skattebo will attend any more VVE shows. He responded to his critics on X, formerly Twitter, to ask that those who don’t like his actions “unfollow”.
“Yeah, honestly, if you don’t like me having a good time while dealing with a rough time, then just unfollow me and move on,” he said. “I can’t play football and have fun like I have all my life, so I’m doing things outside the box trying to find things that will make me happy.”
“Enjoy the rest of your week and just don’t talk about me if you don’t have anything nice to say (saluting face emoji),” Skatebo concluded.
