Green claims he’s not dirty before calling out Euro players

One of the believers for Golden State Warriors over the years it was Draymond Green. He was the defensive anchorsucceeding due to his versatility and skill set. There’s an argument to be made that Green’s versatility was a key factor in making the Warriors a dynasty. However, he has developed a reputation for being dirty over the years and has recently turned the tables on European players.
Green’s intensity defines him, and that intensity has shown on the court for years. However, Green rejected that label and instead said he thinks European players are dirty. He was on “The Draymond Green Show” and talked about Pelle Larsson and how he recently got into it with DeMar DeRozan and Devin Booker. He said that European players in general does the dirty little thingswhile he claims he’ll “fuck” you, but he’s not dirty.
“I played against a bunch of Europeans,” Green said. “They do little dirty things. People get mad at me and say, ‘Ah, Draymond is dirty.’ I told you, Draymond ain’t dirty. Draymond will fuck you. I’m not dirty. I don’t do dirty things. There isn’t a player in the NBA who can tell you that Draymond is a dirty player. There are a lot of Europeans doing dirty things on the basketball court.
Green’s claims are definitely bold, given that he has come under fire from both fans and the NBA itself for his past actions. His most famous incident was hitting LeBron James below the belt during the NBA Finals, which resulted in a suspension. The Cavaliers would go on to win the Finals in seven games.
He was then suspended for one game in 2023 after he stomped Domantas Sabonis in the chest in the first round of the playoffs. Then, in the final incident, Green got into a fight with Rudy Gober and put him in a headlock, resulting in a five-game suspension.
It is interesting for Green to go after European players because he is not the first to say that about them in the NBA, and how they behave.
