Heartfelt message from Mitch Johnson to Devin Booker over hip injury

The San Antonio Spurs they picked up where they left off before the mid-season break, picking up an easy win over the team Phoenix Suns121-94, at the Moody Center on Thursday.
After a tight first half, the Spurs went into the third quarter, outscoring the Suns 37-22, to blow the game wide open.
San Antonio recorded its eighth straight victory and improved to 39-16, while Phoenix dropped to 32-24. A loss could be extra costly for the Suns, as well Devin Booker was forced out early due to a hip injury and did not return.
Spurs coach Mitch Johnson sent a message of support for Booker, who has struggled to stay healthy this season.
“Let’s hope Devin is OK. You hate to see injuries happen to one of the best players in the league,” Johnson said, as quoted by Jared Weiss of the Athletics.
Booker played just nine minutes, recording five points and one rebound.
He has already missed 13 games with an ankle injury.
Stephon Castle had 20 points, four assists and three steals to lead the Spurs, and Victor Wembanyama added 17 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks. De’Aaron Fox had 15 points, three rebounds and eight assists.
Booker’s early exit further handicapped the Suns, who were without Dillon Brooks due to a one-game suspension.
Jaylen Green, in his second game back from a hamstring injury, led Phoenix with 26 points, three rebounds and three steals. Mark Williams gave 10 points and 11 rebounds.
It remains unclear if Booker will miss an extended period, but as Johnson said, getting the All-Star quarterback back on the field as soon as possible would be good for the league.
