Hilarious way Nick Nurse knew the Trae Young trade was coming

Before the Washington Wizards were able to take a big swing to acquire Trae Young from the Atlanta Falcons for CJ McCollum and Corey Kispertthey had to first are wrapping up their game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Now, it’s not surprising that neither McCollum nor Kispert played in said game, a loss to Philadelphia, as even a minor injury could have derailed a trade with huge implications for the Eastern Conference, but the reason the Wizards gave for their absence didn’t quite pass the smell test for Nick Nurse.
Why? Well, because he looked to the side and noticed that the duo didn’t quite look “sick” on the bench, even if that was their official status for the game.
“Someone said they were sick, but then I saw them standing there, and they didn’t look very sick,” the nurse explained via Aussin Krell.
Did the Wizards get away with their “sick” game against the 76ers? Most likely, since McCollim and Kispert left the game unscathed, they were traded shortly after the final whistle, and will soon be on their way to Atlanta to link up with their new team if they aren’t already on a plane at press time.
And as for wizards? Well, they’ll almost certainly lose 131-110 to the 76ers if it means they get a new franchise player in Young, who is somehow still only 27 years old even though he’s in his eighth NBA season. In the end, the Wizards got their guy, the Hawks got his contract out, and the 76ers won after blowing out a stunning undermanned Denver Nuggets team on Monday; a rare win-win-win by NBA standards.
