Is Anthony Edwards playing tonight? Timberwolves vs. Rockets injury report

The Minnesota Timberwolves will face the Houston Rockets, and will probably be without their star in the match. Anthony Edwards dealt right foot injury, and the team has been cautious the last few games about his play. He was listed on the injury report with his right leg out, and did not play in the Timberwolves’ last game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Timberwolves could still win, and that should give them reason to be careful with Edwards. There’s no doubt he wants to play, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Anthony Edwards Injury Status vs. Rockets

It’s Edwards listed as out against the Rockets, and he will miss his second straight game. The Rockets are on the second game of a back-to-back, having suffered a tough loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder last night. They also haven’t played well in the last few games, and going up against a team like the Timberwolves won’t make things better for them.

With Edwards out, Julius Randle stepped up as usual, and they’ll need him as long as he’s out.

Overall, the Timberwolves have played well this season, and have continued to do so on both sides of the ball. The offense stayed afloat with Edwards at the helm, and other players like Randle, Naz Reid, Donte DiVincenzo and Rudy Gobert contributed in some way.

Defensively, they continue their philosophy of being physical, and that has helped them beat some of the better teams in the league. In a win against the San Antonio Spurs, Edwards showed why he is to go on at the end of the game and managed to get a bucket on Victor Vembanyama.

Hopefully, Edwards won’t have to miss any extended time, and the team is just being cautious.
