Is Bradley Beal of the Suns playing against the Pistons? Latest injury update

Bradley Beal continues to land on the injury report for Phoenix Suns. Although he played in the first game of a five-game road trip, Beal missed the Suns’ contest against the Washington Wizards with a sprained left ankle. Now it’s more of the same, as he doubts he will play with the same injury.

Unfortunately, it could be his 12th absence of the season. On a team riddled with inconsistent injuries, it’s another streak in Phoenix’s season. Plus, it changed the production on the court. The Big Three of Bill, Devin Booker and Kevin Durant didn’t have much time to gel.

After all, Suns benched Beal at the beginning of the New Year. It almost brought the team to a standstill, but it was quite the opposite. It was clear that he embraced the role. As a result, the opposing benches had no answer. In two of his first three games off the bench, he scored 25+ points on 50% shooting from the field or better.

However, losing one of the stars is not easy. What’s more, an ankle sprain doesn’t have a real recovery time. For example, Royce O’Neal had a sprained ankle that cost him almost two weeks. It is unknown how long Beal’s recovery may take, depending on the severity.

Bradley Beal’s injury status against the Pistons

With Beal questionable on the injury report, the assumption is that he won’t play against the Pistons. The Phoenix keeper has been a constant on the injury report since the start of the trip. The Suns’ matchup with Detroit shouldn’t be too big. However, the last time the two teams faced off, it was the Cade Cunningham Show.

He also left scored 11 points in the fourth quarterwhich helped the Pistons pull off the upset in Phoenix. They were without Booker in that game. However, Durant scored 43 points and Beal scored 26 points on 11/20 shooting. As they play in Detroit, the team will be without another member of the Big 3, in Bill.

Both teams boast 20-20 records and will look to surpass the .500 mark on Saturday. Even without Beal, the Suns made quick work of the Wizards on Thursday, despite a rough fourth quarter. Booker and Durant once again led the team. So when it comes to whether Beal will play against the Pistons today, the answer is probably no.
