Is Caitlin Clark the most famous female basketball player under 35? Nick Wright is handling the case

As Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clarke can rival even the NBA in terms of popularity to some extent, sports analyst Nick Wright would make an interesting comparison of her rise to the mainstream compared to some of the stars in other basketball leagues. With goal for Clarke to return from injury for the fever and dominate the upcoming season, Wright would make a much-debated claim.

On Wright’s show called “What’s Wright?”, he would claim that Clark was the one “the most famous basketball player under the age of 35.” While that would be clear for the WNBA, though other stars like A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces and a host of others should be noted, the idea that Clark has brought a major spotlight to the league is true.

Looking at the NBA’s hottest stars, Wright would say he’s still 41 years old LeBron James from the Los Angeles Lakers, and the pair of 37-year-olds are Stephen Curry from the Golden State Warriors and Kevin Durant from the Houston Rockets.

“The three most famous basketball players right now are 41-year-old LeBron James and then 37, 38-year-old Steph and KD (Durant),” Wright said.

While the conversation and crossover with Clark and the NBA It makes sense to think that, as Wright does, there could be fans who point to certain players under the age of 35 who dispute the analyst’s point.

Such names that could be mentioned are the Minnesota Timberwolves Anthony EdwardsLuka Doncic from Lakers, Nikola Jokic from Denver Nuggets, Giannis Antetokounmpo from Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs Victor Vembanyama. Wright would mention them, saying none of them “have risen to that level,” though the NBA hopes Vembanyama could be there one day.

“Anthony Edwards, Luka (Doncic), Jokic, Giannis (Antetokounmpo), those guys haven’t risen to that level, and that’s the main problem facing the league that they don’t have a solution for right now, and they hope (Vembanjama) will solve it,” Wright said.

Either way, Clark’s popularity is sure to grow every year.
