Is Evan Mobley coming back for Christmas? Cavs vs. Knicks injury report

The Cleveland Cavaliers will face the New York Knicks on Christmas Day and may bring back one of their key players. Evan Mobley is out in the last few games as he has been dealing with a strained left calf. He’s still on the strain injury report and was originally slated to be out two to four weeks. Calf strains have seen an uptick in the league this season, and teams remain cautious about how their players will recover, as they could lead to an Achilles injury.
For the Cavs, it is obvious that Mobley is not on the floor for them, and the hope is that he will make a full recovery and return a little faster.

Evan Mobley’s injury status against the Knicks
It’s mobile listed as suspicious against the Knicks, and it is uncertain whether he will be available for Christmas. If Mobley is active, he would be able to return to the floor as early as two weeks, which would be incredible, especially for a calf injury. Hopefully the Cavs have done everything they can to make sure Mobley is 100% and able to get back on the floor.
At the same time, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Mobley misses just a few more games so he can continue to get better.
The The Cavs were not the same team that they were last year, mostly because of injuries, but they also didn’t play well. Mobley was key to their success last season and early this season, and what he brings on both sides of the ball is imperative.
The Cavs could use Mobley on a team like the Knicks, who are playing well this season, but at this point they won’t know if they’ll have him on the floor.
