Given his question mark on injury reportthere is currently some doubt as to whether Ja Morant will be able to play against the Lakers on Sunday. Morant played Friday night between the two teams and played relatively well, but it wasn’t enough, as Memphis’ comeback attempt fell short against Los Angeles.
Morant is joined on the injury report by John Kanchar, Ty Jerome, Brandon Clark and Vince Williams Jr., who will each miss the contest with various injuries, while Santi Aldama is questionable for the game with right ankle soreness. Meanwhile, Rui Hachimura, Austin Reaves and Gabe Vincent will remain out of the Lakers.
Overall, the 2025-26 NBA season has been a frustrating one for the Grizzlies, who are currently 15-19 entering Sunday night’s game in Los Angeles.
