Is Jalen Green playing tonight? Suns vs. Pistons injury report

The Phoenix Suns will face the Detroit Pistons, and they could get one of their key players back on the floor. Jalen Green missed the previous two games after playing just four minutes last week against the Atlanta Hawks. It looked like Green may have re-tweaked the hamstring that kept him out for most of the season.

Green is listed on the injury report with a right hamstring strain, and it’s uncertain when he’ll return to the floor, but it could be sooner rather than later.

Jalen Green’s injury status against the Pistons

It’s green listed as suspicious against the Pistons, which means there’s a chance he fits. If not, that’s a good sign that it’s closer to returning.

Green has played in just four games so far this season and is averaging 11.8 points. Coming from the Houston Rockets in the Kevin Durant trade, it was uncertain what his role would be on the team, especially with the backcourt already loaded. They have yet to see what kind of impact he can really make, and he hopes to stay healthy for the second half of the season so he can help them.

With Devin Booker was sidelined with an ankle injury and the uncertainty of when he will return, having Green back would be huge for the Suns, and he could bring immediate results to the team. This is a player who averaged 21 points per game last season with the No. 2 seed.

The Suns have done well this season without Green, and may be one of the league’s biggest surprises, currently 28-19 and sitting in the seventh seed.
