Is James Harden playing today? Cavs vs. Nets injury report
The Cleveland Cavaliers will face Brooklyn Netsand there’s a chance they could bring back one of their key players. James Harden has missed the last few games after being diagnosed with a fractured right thumb, but was spotted playing for the game. It doesn’t look like Harden will have surgery, and it may just be a matter of pain tolerance if he returns to the court.
Luckily for the Cavs, they’ll be playing the Nets, a team that hasn’t had much success this season. This could be a game where they let Harden recover so he can continue to recover.

James Harden’s injury status against the Nets
It’s Harden listed as suspicious against the Nets, which means there’s a chance he can play.
The latest update on Harden wasn’t at his best when considering an imminent return, as head coach Kenny Atkinson said the guard struggled with his dribbling.
“I know he struggled a little bit just dribbling this morning,” Atkinson said. “If you have a hard time dribbling and catching (it’s hard to play). Jarrett Allen went through that earlier in the season. We tried to get him back. He wanted to rush, and then we had to go back and give him some time.”
“I know James is different … we have to get feedback from James. … There’s no tougher guy in the league. Nobody’s available anymore. Nobody wants to play anymore.”
If Harden struggles trying to dribble, then he has no chance of playing. At this point, listing him as questionable probably means opposing teams would be on edge so they don’t know if they should prepare for him.
