Is Jameson Williams frustrated with his lack of touches?
Coming off their bye week, Detroit The Lions are preparing for the match against the Minnesota Vikings. Wide receiver Jameson Williams will look for more targets going his own way.
So far, Williams has caught 17 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns. However, he is not complaining about his limited role. During the season, Williams is only expecting its production to increasevia Eric Woodyard of ESPN.
“I didn’t go too far and think about it as long as we’re winning,” Williams said. “I can never get too worried about getting the ball or the tackle. I know it’s going to come, it’s a long season. We made the playoffs, so I knew something like that was going to come.”

Williams spoke with offensive coordinator John Morton about how best to move forward. He seems to agree with Detroit’s plans. Furthermore, Williams credited former Lions quarterback Teddy Bridgewater with helping him learn how to stay focused even when he’s not the focus of the offense.
While he may not yet be on the scene in 2025, Williams is a big show waiting to happen. His best outing so far came against the Chicago Bears in Week 2, when he caught two passes for 108 yards and a touchdown.
The Lions know exactly what they have in Williams, which is why they signed him to an $83 million contract extension. He knows the receptions will come and stays ready when his name is called.
