Given its likely designation at injury reportit seems more likely than not that Jaylen Brown will actually be able to compete on Wednesday night against the Pacers.

Brown has been consistently in the lineup for the Celtics as of late, most recently dropping 41 points against his hometown Atlanta Hawks in a huge win. The Celtics’ injury report is largely clear of Brown for the matchup against Indiana.

Meanwhile, Benedict Maturin and Obi Taupin will remain out of the lineup for Indiana.

The Celtics are coming off a close loss on the road against the Detroit Pistons on Monday night. Brown had a chance to win that game late, but his contested jumper over Tobias Harris in the final seconds bounced off the rim twice and ended up fouling out.

Still, Boston has been on the rise lately, currently sitting in second place in the Eastern Conference, a lead that only widens as the New York Knicks continue to freefall in the standings. Brown has played at a borderline MVP level this year, and the Celtics also got big contributions from the likes of Derrick White, Peyton Pritchard and Sam Hauser, who knocked down ten three-pointers in a weekend win over Atlanta.

Either way, the Celtics and Pacers are scheduled to tip off at 7:30 PM ET from TD Garden in Boston. After that, the Celtics will next take the floor on Friday night for a road game against the Brooklyn Nets.
