Keyonte George’s playing status against the Raptors

Given his question mark on injury reportthere is currently some doubt as to whether george will be able to compete against the raptors on sunday night. George missed last week’s nationally televised game against the Los Angeles Clippers due to rest, a move many fans found bizarre. However, he was on fire before that, recently dropping 43 points in a home win over Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

George on the Jazz’s injury report for this matchup are Kevin Love, who is questionable with an illness, and Jusuf Nurkic, who is also questionable for the same reason. Meanwhile, Jakob Poeltl will be out for the Raptors with a back strain.

George has been one of the bright spots this season for a Jazz team still stuck at the bottom of the barrel in the Western Conference, and he has a legitimate case for being the NBA’s most improved player this season.

All of this came amid what was a somewhat disappointing rookie year for 2025 lottery pick Ace Bailey, though the Jazz will likely add another lottery talent to the fray come June 2026.

If he’s able to play Sunday, Bailey will have his hands full against a Raptors defense that has several long defenders.

Tipoff is set for 6:00 PM ET.
