Is Zion Williamson playing against the Lakers? Pelican injury report
The New Orleans Pelicans travel to Cripto.com Arena on Tuesday night to face a Los Angeles Lakers a team that has won each of its last three games. They snapped a three-game skid after some very impressive shooting and will look to extend their streak against New Orleans.
For the Pelicans, a lot depends on status Zion Williamson, who recently claimed in his interview with ESPN that he expected to play after recovering from an ankle injury. That, however, proved just enough to change his status to ‘questionable’ according to the post on X from ClutchPoints.

Williamson suffered the injury during Friday’s win over the Utah Jazz and was forced to sit out Sunday’s 137-117 loss to the Clippers, a loss that ended New Orleans’ four-game winning streak. The Pelicans have continued to struggle despite recent improvement.
They are 19-43 on the season and languishing in 13th place in the Western Conference, ten wins behind the Portland Trail Blazers in 10th and in need of a change in fortunes to make the postseason.
Zion Williamson’s injury status against the Lakers

While the question mark is a concern, Zion himself expects to play, and barring any subsequent incidents, fans can expect him to be involved at least off the bench.
Talking to ESPN’s Malika Andrews on Monday, Williamson said,
“I expect to be back tomorrow against the Lakers.”
Before adjusting the ankle joint, Zion was in the midst of his most durable period as a professionalplaying in a career-high 35 consecutive games. On the season, he is averaging 21.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting over 58% from the field.
Regardless, the Lakers (36-24) found their rhythm, entering the night as winners of two straight games. They have won nine of their last 10 games against New Orleans and will be looking for another straight win at home.
