Ivica Zubac out of the field for the Cavaliers clash

The Los Angeles Clippers face sudden roster changes before facing the Cleveland Cavaliers. It includes Ivica Zubac now sit down.

Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints reported Zubac game decision on Wednesday afternoon. But Azarly also clarified Zubac’s future with LAC.

“Ivica Zubac of the Clippers has been placed OUT for tonight’s game against the Cavs for personal reasons, but it is not related to a trade,” Azarly posted on social network X, formerly Twitter.

Zubac’s news comes at a time when Chris Paul is going to the Toronto Raptors and James Harden is moving to the Cavs.

Wednesday’s CP3 deal was nothing compared to Tuesday night’s blockbuster deal.

Darius Garland goes to Inglewood after the Clippers found a suitor for Harden. The latter rose as a sudden trade contender after Azarly.

“James Harden and the LA Clippers have been in active trade talks for several weeks, league sources told ClutchPoints, and the Clippers are working with Harden on potential trade destinations for the 36-year-old guard,” Azarly wrote. “The team hasn’t been shopping Harden, especially with their recent streak of 17 wins in their last 22 games, the best such record in the league since Dec. 20.”

Harden’s move ends a three-season streak with LAC. It also ends his return home to Los Angeles — as Harden starred for nearby Artesia High and grew up in LA

Zubac, meanwhile, has heard his trade rant around the league. The Boston Celtics have signed up as a potential candidate. Now Zubac’s trade market appears to be waning.
