Jackson Dart reveals the 3 C’s of success he got from Eli Manning
It sure sounds like it legendary New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning was a great resource for sophomore signal-caller Jaxon Dartwho revealed three keys to success he got from a fellow Ole Miss ex.
Speaking to RG, Dart revealed the “best advice” he got from Manning, which is something the four-time Pro Bowler followed throughout his careerthat led to his two Super Bowl wins: that he remained “cool, calm, (and) collected.”
“I think the best advice Eli gave me was just to be cool, calm, collected at all times,” Dart revealed. “We go back and look at the biggest moments of his career, the way he ran on the field, the way he introduced himself to the team, how he was with the guys in the huddle. You can go back to the first tape of the game and he’s the same.”
Dart then discovered that this approach was similar to playing tennis. “Anything can happen” in the NFL, and Dart is learning how to weather the storm, whether the play is good or bad.
“Each play is very self-contained, and anything can happen at any point in the game, especially in the NFL,” Dart explained. “You just have to make sure you’re as selective and consistent as possible and not be able to handle the emotion of the game. You have to be able to weather the storms and just stay cool and calm and collected.”
The connection between Jackson Dart and Eli Manning runs deeper than the Giants

Dart and Manning have a strong bond. Part of that may be because they both share the same alma mater: Ole Miss’ Manning played for the Rebels from 1999-2003, and Dart played for them from 2022-2024.
Manning was similarly selected in the first round by the Giants. Expectations were high, and he led the Giants to two Super Bowl victories during his career. Dart hopes to do the same.
