Jadeveon Clowney fired up for the finals because he “loves money”
With The Dallas Cowboys lost to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, 34-17, the team’s third straight loss in a disappointing season. As it is The Cowboys failed to make the playoffs this season, people are wondering what keeps the players motivated during the last few games, with the star Jadeveon Clowney giving your personal answer.
With two games remaining in the regular season, the contests are relatively meaningless, especially in terms of the playoffs. However, Clowney is open about what motivates him, which is, among many reasons, that Dallas is paying him to play, saying: “I love money.”
“What do you mean motivated? I get paid. That’s motivation enough for me. I like money,” Clowney said, according to John Machotta. “Not only that. I represent more than just the team. I play for more than myself; my family supports me. I play for everyone who has been with me since the beginning. And I never give up on anything. It won’t be difficult for me to get up and play in any game.”
Clowney is in the midst of his 12th NFL season, his first with Dallas, as the 32-year-old has logged four sacks and 31 total tackles this year.
Brian Schottenheimer on the Cowboys’ physicality in the loss to the Chargers

If there was anything to do minus the Cowboys’ loss to the Chargersit was the physicality of the team, as head coach Brian Schottenheimer said. However, he would also admit that Dallas “not well executed.”
“At the end of the day, I just didn’t think we played very good complementary football,” Schottenheimer said, via Machota. “And some untimely penalties kind of limited our ability to do what we needed to do and limited our offensive opportunities in the second half. And again, the big swing in the game was the fourth down they got in the red zone.”
“You can’t look at this film and say our guys didn’t play hard,” Schottenheimer continued.
Either way, Dallas is 6-8-1 and looking to get back into the win column on Christmas Day Thursday against the Washington Commanders.
