Jalen Brunson laughs at reporter Josh Hart’s quip

on Sunday, The New York Knicks are back into the win column with a solid home win over the Miami Heat. Nix was led by an great play by Jalen Brunsonwho scored 47 points with eight assists in the win, which moved New York’s record to an impressive 20-8 on the season.

After the game, Brunson was interviewed on the court and asked which teammate hit the biggest shot in the half.

“Unfortunately, I’m going to say Josh,” Brunson said, referring to his teammate Josh Hart.

Then the Knicks sideline reporter had a hilarious joke.

“Kudos for that,” he said via MrBuckBuck on X, formerly Twitter.

The joke was a reference to a recent viral video after the Knicks’ NBA Cup win in which Hart jabbed his thumb into Brunson’s behind during their postgame celebration, which quickly became a meme on social media.

Brunson responded to the joke with a priceless smile.

All in all, the moment was just another example of the chemistry this Knicks team has built over the years, with Brunson, Hart and Mikal Bridges having been teammates since their college days at Villanova.

Overall, the Knicks seem to have shaken off a rough start to the year, recently winning the NBA Cup and now coming off a string of wins against solid competition on a nightly basis, including on the road, where they struggled mightily to open the season.

Through it all, Brunson continues to perform at an All-NBA level, putting up mammoth stat lines on a routine basis to help propel his team closer to the top of the Eastern Conference, a spot currently occupied by the top-seeded Detroit Pistons.

Either way, the Knicks will take the floor next on Tuesday night for a tough game on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
