Jalen Duren sat out the rest of the game with an ankle injury

A potential problem on that front may have just occurred during the team’s New Year’s Day showdown with the Miami Heat. Fourth year center Jalen Duren headed to the locker room afterwards rolling the ankle on the way to the basket, via Artoftheleague X account.
He was ruled out for the rest of the competitionper ClutchPoints NBA Insider Brett Siegel. Detroit currently trails Miami by double digits and is headed for its third loss in four games. Duren provides a great compliment in the frontcourt for All-Star running back Cade Cunningham, so fans are hoping his sprained ankle won’t last long.
