Jalen Green hits Quentin Grimes badly from behind in return
It’s been a tough 2025-26 season so far Jalen Green; after playing in at least 67 games over the first four seasons of his career, including a total of 82 games for the Houston Rockets in the last two, he sat out all but two games in his debut season with Phoenix Suns. But on Tuesday night, he was finally ready made his third appearance of the season on the road against the Philadelphia 76ers.
After a long absence, the Suns decided to take Green off the bench in a 116-110 victory over Phoenix. He ended up playing a total of 20 minutes and was on the court for the team toward the end of the game with the late-attacking 76ers. But his best moment of the night came near the end of the third quarter.
With the Suns looking to go two-on-one with less than 40 seconds left, Green pulled Quentin Grimes on the switch. Wasting no time shaking off a 76ers defender, Green used a behind-the-back middle to create separation, then hit Grimes with a nasty 3-pointer to extend the Phoenix lead to 13, 95-82.

The Suns have room for more growth as the second half of the season approaches

The Suns were probably the best coached team in the entire NBA. They’ve used the roster’s strengths, namely their speed, defensive disruption and perimeter shooting, to a T, and it’s no coincidence that they own a 27-17 record. If they stayed in the Eastern Conference, they would be three seeds.
With a green back, the Suns have even more firepower; at times, the offensive load becomes too much for the likes of Devin Booker and Dillon Brooks to handle. Green, when it goes up to full speedshould be another focal point of the team’s offense, which should only bode well for the team moving forward.
