Jamal Murray was expected to play against the Thunder despite his illness

Jamal Murray received a positive injury report ahead of Denver Nuggets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder game on Friday night.

Murray is in the 10th year of his NBA career with the Nuggets. He is enjoying one of the best seasons of his career, finally earning his first All-Star selection.

Murray initially played in the Nuggets’ last contest against the Boston Celtics on February 25th. However, he left the game early as illness prevented him from continuing.

Despite the nagging illness, David Adelman addressed the media during Friday’s pregame press conference. He gave a positive update on Murray, securing questionable status while he is expected to play.

“Denver head coach David Adelman says Jamal Murray is still not feeling well as he deals with an illness, but he expects to play. The first-round All-Star running back is listed as questionable,” Martinez wrote.
