James Harden connects with John Collins for a monster slam

The Los Angeles Clippers are eager to shed unnecessary baggage in the midst of another terrible season. They are on a three-game losing streak entering Monday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Clippers got off to a strong start against the Grizzlies at the Intuit Dome before tapering off in the second quarter. For what it’s worth, James Harden and John Collins they combined for the best climax of the match so far.

After a turnover by Memphis in the opening frame, Harden sprinted to the other end of the court before making a no-look pass to Collins, who was trailing on the play. Collins then went for a powerful shot, delighted the home fans.

The Clippers have enough talent to compete in the Western Conference, but so far they haven’t figured it out.

As of this writing, the Grizzlies are ahead by a narrow margin heading into the second quarter.

Harden was originally listed as questionable due to a calf strain.

The Clippers’ problems were recently highlighted after the sudden departure of Chris Paul. According to multiple reports, he rubbed people in the organization the wrong way with his constant criticism of the team. Both Harden and Kawhi Leonard, however, distanced themselves from the release, saying they had no idea the Clippers were releasing Paul.

Collins, meanwhile, was among the Clippers’ high-profile players in the offseason, along with Paul, Bradley Beal and Brook Lopez. Collins is the only impact player, with Paul already out, Beal suffering a season-ending injury and Lopez stuck to the bench.
