James Harden keeps it cool about the Clippers after the bombshell trade

The Cleveland Cavaliers a new era began with James Harden right, beating the Sacramento Kings in his first game with his new team. Harden took over in the fourth quarter games and helped the team secure a win, and that’s something the fans should get used to.
After the game, Harden was asked about his time with the Los Angeles Clippers, and he had nothing but good things to say about the people in the organization.
“One of the best organizations I’ve been a part of from top to bottom. From Ballmer to L Frank. Everyone in the front office … I appreciate the opportunity and I’ll never forget it,” Harden said.

Harden had the opportunity to play for his hometown team, and not everyone has the opportunity to do that. Not only that, but he could leave a mark in a team that some will never forget.
“That’s all I can do. … You never know what kind of standard you leave in someone’s day or life. That was true love for me. … Life goes on, it goes on, and you’ve got to get on with it,” Harden said.
Harden noted that he didn’t ask for a trade, and that’s something the Clippers brought up to him, knowing his contract situation for next season. In the end, both teams got what they wanted, as Harden is in winning mode with the Cavs, while the Clippers are now younger and focused on the future.
The Cavs may have been the perfect fit for Harden, as he plays alongside another top guard in Donovan Mitchell and is surrounded by scoring threats such as Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen.
The Cavs were serious about improving at the deadline, and they did. Now it’s time to try to escape.
