James Harden reveals how he fits seamlessly in Cleveland

James Harden he played for many teams, but maybe he did finally found the perfect fit with the Cleveland Cavaliers. After a dominating 138-113 win over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night, “The Beard” opened up about how he’s been able to transition so seamlessly into the Cavs’ rotation since arriving at the trade deadline.
For Harden, it’s not about overcomplicating things. He credited the team’s chemistry for the smooth start, noting in particular the “vibe” in the locker room. He highlighted an unselfish approach to joining a roster that was already reeling before his arrival.
“Definitely the vibes,” Harden said of his conditioning. “I told them, I’ll figure it out. We’ll make some adjustments with each other, but mostly you just do what you’ve been doing and I’ll find my way. I’m just here to win, so whatever that looks like.”

The results speak for themselves. Doc Merrill himself stole the show with a historic 32-point performance, Harden’s impact as a floor general was undeniable. He finished the night with 13 points and a career-high 11 assists in 28 minutes of play. Despite making just four shots from the field, Harden continued to buzz on offense, constantly finding open shooters and giving Jarrett Allen the paint.
Harden wasn’t the only star shining, though Donovan Mitchell continued to cry with 30 points and five assists. Allen was nearly perfect himself, pouring in 21 points and nine rebounds on 10-of-11 shooting. The Wizards simply had no answer for the Cavaliers’ depth, as Keyshon George led Washington with 17 points in the loss.
With five straight wins and a 3-0 record since the trade, the Cavaliers are officially the hottest team in the Eastern Conference. As Harden said, he’s only here to win, and right now, winning looks pretty easy in Cleveland.
