The US Basketball Federation just found out the group that will defend the American colors during the 2027 FIBA World Cup qualifiers in February 2026.
On the program: two home matches, at Frontwave Arena (California), vs Dominican Republic (February 26) then Mexico (March 1). An important window in the format where Team USA has to build on its results without its NBA stars, with a team made up mostly of G-League players.
The 12-player “roster” therefore combines confirmed profiles and bets: Brandon Knight, Elfrid Peyton, James Wiseman, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, David Roddy, Terry Taylor, Jeremiah Tillmon, Jaden Shackelford, Dakota Mathias, Malcolm Hill, Tevion Kinsey etc Tevian Jones. Several of them were already included in previous qualification periods.
on the bench Stephen Silas has been re-appointed head coach, with Patrick Muthomb, Marlon Garnett and Clay Moser on the staff, and training camp scheduled for February 20-25 in California.
The immediate goal: extend the good start (2-0 after the first window) and secure a trip to Doha.
