Jase Richardson Details Summer League Growing Pain After Loss of Kings

A 6-foot guard, who played one season in Michigan, added that his physicism is not new, but the consistency of pressure in the summer league is a different experience.
“Basically the same. I’m a smaller guard, so I’m used to people trying to be physically with me,” Richardson said. “So, I kind of expect me to come in here, and guys try to get me into me – be physically, try to check me, all of you, so my body is ready for it.”
Richardson also found that he adjusted an ankle that was previously a problem.
“I feel good. I messed up a little, the one that is long lasting, but I feel good,” he said. “But besides, I feel great for the game.”
As the magic list of summer leagues continues to build chemistry, Richardson admitted a limited time challenge together. Many players joined the group just a few days before opening.
“I think it’s just a tempo for me, there’s a lot of ups and downs, so they only get used to the tempo and practice of that chemistry … I think it’s one of the biggest things for us,” Richardson said. “We were only together for about a week and a half, a lot of us, so just making that chemistry and used to guys and how they play.”
