Jaylen Brown is now considering a lawsuit against Beverly Hills

Jailen BrownAll-Star weekend was marked by an incident at his home. The Boston Celtics The All-Star hosted the event at his place in Beverly Hills. however, the police shut down the event after an incorrect report about the nature of the party. Brown expressed his frustration over the incident, going so far as to call the Beverly Hills police when they made the statementnt.
Now Brown seems ready to take further action. In a recent interview with Andscape, the Celtics point guard said he was considering taking legal action against the Beverly Hills PD following an incident during All-Star weekend.
“I’m not a legal guy, but you’ve embarrassed my brand and my team. And I think it’s unfair,” Brown told Marc J. Spears and Andscape. “And for you to continue to tell untruths in your apology statement, I feel insulted by that. I’ll be back with my team this weekend and we’ll make a decision.”
The event, which was done to promote Braun’s performance brand 741Performance, was shut down after an event permit for the aforementioned rally was denied. However, the Celtics star reiterated that the event did not require a permit, as it was a private invite-only event and not a public event. Brown expressed his frustration after the event, saying that the Beverly Hills Police Department lied about parts of the incident.
“I wanted to enjoy myself and I felt like that was taken away from me,” Brown told reporters. “I was embarrassed. If it happened to me, I’m sure it’s happened to a bunch of people in the past. I look at it that way. There’s probably a bunch of people who don’t scream, fall into deaf fears, which is unfortunate. I’m not sure what the bottom line is… Even in the statement they released, they put some things in that were true, even in the apology.
Brown was selected to his fifth All-Star game this year, all with the Celtics. The star forward averaged 29.3 points per game as he led Boston to second place in the Eastern Conference. Even without Jayson Tatum, Boston is poised to make another postseason appearance.
