Jaylen Brown sends a clear message to those who doubt the rise

The Boston Celtics have done a great job exceeding expectations so far this season. Even in Jayson Tatum’s absence, the Celtics have looked terrific throughout the campaign and are currently third in the East at 21-12.

The the head of the snake is none other than Jaylen Brownaveraged 29.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and five assists per game. however, The 2024 Finals MVP wants it all to have the same respect for his team as before.

“We’ve got 50 games left. Keep the same energy… How do we move to 3rd in the East… They said we’re going to win 30 games this year… I want you all to count,” he said on his live streamaccording to a video posted by ClutchPoints on Ks.

Boston has undoubtedly taken things in its stride. Brown leads a team that also has Derrick White and Peyton Pritchard averaging 18.3 and 16.9 points, respectively, while Anfernee Simmons and Nimias Keta are also in double figures.

The Celtics relied on a dynamic, disciplined approach and produced regular points through their system offense. While the easier Eastern Conference may not be the best measure of their postseason potential, the potential return of Tatum will certainly make things interesting.

The Celtics currently have the third best offensive rating in the league and are averaging more than 120 points per game. However, at the same time, an inconsistent defense means things could be more difficult for them when they are up against genuine title contenders.

For now, though, Boston fans will be happy with where their team is. They look on track to make another true playoff run, something many thought was out of reach at the start of the season.

Regardless, whatever happens, Brown will want to continue to prove the naysayers wrong.
