Jaylen Green gets updated timeline for unfortunate hamstring injury

The The Phoenix Suns suffered another significant blow to Jalen Greenafter he injured his shin at the beginning of November. The team announced that it would be out for another two to three weeks.
He’s back, he’s had another setback, and it looks like he’s going to have another one. Interestingly, head coach Jordan Ott teased that the progress is good.
However, this begs the question of how good Green is. Even if word on the street is that he’s headed in the right direction, this injury update clearly says otherwise.
Still, Phoenix managed to get off to a good start to the season, despite missing one of their rising young stars. They managed to secure a place to play in the first quarter of the season.
The Suns have exceeded expectations, even without Green. Guys like Dillon Brooks and Colin Gillespie have had a chance, while Devin Booker continues to run the show.
Jalen Green’s injury is a concern for the Suns
Despite that The Suns may be playing it safe with Greenthis is a little concerning, given that his initial assessment is six weeks away.
But there is good enough reason to keep it aside. For starters, the team’s record and position in the Western Conference are in the playoffs.
Also, Brooks and Gillespie are having career years and contributing to winning basketball. Finally, and most importantly, the last time Green returned, he was immediately injured.
Searching his long-term health was the main goal for everyone on the roster. No matter how much these guys want to play, the best ability is accessibility.
They did it with Mark Williams and Booker with their injuries. Adding green to the list wouldn’t be too complicated.
That might come as a shock to Suns fans, but the athletic long-range slasher is a top priority.
