Jayson Tatum resumed 5-on-5 work while rehabbing from an Achilles injury

The Boston Celtics they managed perfectly in this season without Jayson Tatumas they are currently second seed in the Eastern Conference. behind the scenes, Tatum had a hard time in rehaband it seems as if he is trying to get back on the floor as soon as possible.
He recently came to a new step in rehab as he plays 5-on-5 with trainers, according to ESPN’s Shems Charania.
“Sources tell me that Jayson Tatum has started 5-on-5 with trainers as he aggressively attacks his rehab every step of the way,” Charania said. “There are still boxes for Jayson Tatum to check. There are multiple phases to his rehab; he has to practice with the team, of course, and then there’s the normal nerves of coming back from an injury of this magnitude.”

Usually, when players rupture their Achilles, they miss the entire season, and that might be the best thing for Tatum to do instead of trying to come back. Even before deciding to return, the medical staff must be cleared to return to the floor.
“Jayson Tatum has made it clear to people around him as far as I understand that he wants to get back as close to Jayson Tatum as Jayson Tatum as possible,” Tatum said. “Not a shell of him, not a lesser percentage of him. And the flip side of all that is the Celtics medical staff is going to have to clear him 100 percent before he comes back.”
With about 30 games left in the season, Tatum will have to work hard to return to the field. There’s a good chance he’ll be back next season, and he’ll even have more time to get ready to play.
For now, he can watch his team in peace, knowing they are playing good basketball without him.
