Jeff Skinner sounds to signing with San Jose

The San Jose Sharks made a ton of moves in NHL Free Agency to this point. In fact, they completely changed the foundation of their team. One of the more intriguing signs arrived on Friday when San Jose signed the veteran front Jeff Skinner to a one-year contract.

Skinner joined San Jose after spending one season with Edmonton’s oils. Last summer, she looked like Skinner singing was a massive oilfie. However, Skinner failed to achieve only 29 points during the 2024-25 season.

Skinner will have more opportunities in this next San Jose campaign. Sharks have young stars such as Macklin Cellini and Smith will wave waves. But they need the presence of veterans to help them enter their players. Skinner believes he has much to offer.

“Me, for sure, I think I stayed in the tank a lot,” new sharks forward, over NHL.com’s Tom Gulitty. “I think I’m excited to start a new challenge. I think there’s an extra juice that matches you and I think I’m not feeling that way, I’ll probably not play anymore.”

Celidins are the sharks a young man with the most common one. San Jose prepared the first as a whole in the NHL draft 2024. Years. He immediately made an impact, leading San Jose in points during his Nokia campaign. Celidins showed an incredible skill, and Skinner was quite free of charge to her new teammate.

“I don’t think I was that talented or who was ready to enter the league as he was from what I saw afar”, the new sharks said, Via Gulitty.

Skinner for a long time around the league and experienced some incredible Highs. Although once played in postseason only once, the veteran reached 30+ goals six times, including 35 for Buffalo Sabers in 2022-23. It could be good support for a whole, and Skinner is ready to be someone that a young star can rely.

“Like every other guy in the team or any older guy in the team, he asked about his experience in a certain situation, who can be able to talk to you somehow what happened to you and how it happened,” Skinner said. “But he and other young guys, work all right.”
