JJ Redick teases Austin Reaves’ return from injury

The Los Angeles Lakers they have played well this season despite a few injuries they had to deal with early on. of course LeBron James is out and he has yet to play this season, but even Luka Doncic missed some time. Austin Reaves is the latest key Lakers player to deal with an injury and has not played in the last three games.
The Lakers are calling it a minor groin strain for Reaves and the head coach JJ Redick shared an update when it can be returned.
“Given the fact that his soreness is mild, I would expect him to be back on this trip at some point,” Redick said, via Lakers reporter Mike Trudell.
Before Reaves got hurt, he was on a week-long streak and scored at a high level and kept the Lakers afloat while Doncic was out. It even included the game-winner against the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he finished with 28 points and 16 assists. He and Doncic are two of the reasons why the Lakers have been so successful at the beginning of the season, and hopefully that will continue when James returns.
With no Reaves in their last game against the Atlanta Hawks, the Lakers failed to win, and it may have been one of their worst losses of the season. Redick would probably think so too, who after the game did not hide that he was not satisfied with the way they played.
“They brought the required level of effort, urgency and physicality,” Redick said after the game.
The Lakers have four games remaining on this road trip, and they are playing against some tough opponents, such as the Oklahoma City Thunder and Milwaukee Bucks. Redick had hoped Reaves would return at least once during this trip, which is good news for a team missing several key players.
